Responsibilities
1.Be responsible for the recruitment and selection process for assigned vacancies:
2.Draft job ads, manage job boards, and source relevant candidates (LinkedIn/referrals)
3.Manage the selection process including reviewing applications, conducting eligibility assessments and arranging interview logistics.
4.Monitor and maintain records of each written/technical test for every position and ensure compliance.
5.Conduct reference checks including interagency reference check, where applicable, and background verifications for finalist candidates.
6.Prepare employment offers and ensure policy compliance.
7.Issue employment contracts and other HR documents to staff, service providers, consultants, and interns ensuring compliance with AKHS policies and Syrian labor laws.
8.Maintain a contract tracker to monitor expiration/renewal dates.
9.Coordinate comprehensive onboarding/induction plans (including documentation, orientation, and HRMS setup) for all staff as well as service providers, consultants, and interns.
10.Track probation periods, initiate probationary evaluations, and ensure supervisors complete the same within established deadlines.
11.Complete each employee personnel file as per checklist including updated and signed JDs.
12.Ensure compliance with HR Manual and audit requirements.
13.Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS (Odoo) and update personnel files (physical/digital).
14.Verify monthly HRMS updates for new hires/separations.
15.Generate HR reports/analytics for management.
16.Process separations (exit formalities, clearance docs, exit interviews).
17.Administer benefits, leave, and payroll records.
18.Serve as primary HR contact for employee inquiries.
19.Process monthly payroll and administer benefits. (optional)
20.Identify training and development areas through appraisal system and arrange training programs for staff in collaboration with other institutions
21.Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts.
22.Streamline HR workflows and coordinate performance appraisals.
23.Ensure all safeguarding requirements are met and maintained according to the organizational standards.
24.Proactively follow up on action items and deadlines to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to details.


Qualifications
•University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Three years of experience in Human Resources-related fields
•Experience in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage
•Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work well in a team environment.
•Attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Proficiency in MS Office applications.
•Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
•Strong problem-solving skills
•Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic both spoken and written.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
