Responsibilities
Planning:
-Provide any support required by the MEAL Co to develop the MEAL plan for all projects according to Log Frames
-Contribute, when asked, to drafts/ToR/BoQ for activities implementation (background, methodology, objectives, results, activities, BoQ, Monitoring and post monitoring table linked to result framework + cash, materials, transport) and send it to PM
-Support to prepare weekly activity planning, movement plan with the PO and SPO.
-Contribute to weekly meeting
Implementation:
-Conduct regular field visits with the mobile team to assess and identify individuals with physical therapy needs within communities and targeted locations.
-Plan, design, and deliver appropriate physical therapy treatment activities tailored to each beneficiary’s condition and rehabilitation goals.
-Provide clear guidance, support, and practical advice to family members and caregivers on how to follow up and continue treatment procedures at home.
-Ensure timely and appropriate referrals of beneficiaries to external service providers and specialized medical actors when necessary.
-Monitor and evaluate the progress of each patient through follow-up visits and continuous assessment of treatment outcomes.
-Develop and document success stories from notable rehabilitation cases and share them with the Senior Project Officer for reporting and visibility purposes.
Ensure the quality, transparency, and accountability of all physical therapy interventions while maintaining the highest standards of dignity and respect toward beneficiaries.
-Maintain strict confidentiality of all beneficiary data, documentation, and case information in line with COOPI data protection and safeguarding policies.
-Prepare and submit regular progress reports on beneficiaries’ status, treatment outcomes, and field observations to the line manager.
-Coordinate closely with other technical team members (psychologists, case managers, speech therapists) to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
-Perform additional tasks as requested by the line manager in support of the project’s objectives.
Reporting:
-Draft/inform the PO and PM on activities accomplishment including implementation data as requested (interim, final, ad hoc, etc)
-Participate in grant closing meetings for every closed grant if required by the PM.
External Coordination:
-Support the organization of internal and donors visits to the project sites liaising with the PO.
-Support approval of agreements with the regions and required MoU with local authorities
Project development:
-Support to execute and manage of all required needs assessment (Standard, Rapid, Ad Hoc) and explo missions.
-Act as enumerators and data collectors as required
-Contribute technical inputs in new project proposals as required
-Share project ideas and concepts as deemed useful
-Propose written innovative actions in the area of intervention
Qualifications
-Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy, or a closely related field.
-Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in physical rehabilitation or community-based physiotherapy services.
Prior experience working with international or local NGOs in humanitarian or development contexts is a strong asset.
-Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and guide caregivers.
-Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in challenging or high-pressure environments.
-Experience in coordinating with local authorities, CBOs, and health or protection actors.
-Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
-Knowledge of English (spoken and written) is an advantage.

This is a full-time position under a 3-month renewable contract.
