Responsibilities
1-Planning
• Complete the following documents
- Draft detailed activities workplan
- Draft the project procurement plan
- Draft the project expenditures in the PREPPY (activity lines)
- Draft recruitment plan
• Draft/Prepare any preliminary agreement required or inform sub-national authorities
• Attend the grant opening meeting
• Draft the MEAL plan for the project according to Log Frames
• Consolidate and review draft ToRs/BoQ for activities implementation (background, methodology, objectives, results, activities, BoQ, Monitoring and post monitoring table linked to result framework, cash, materials, transport)
• Attend weekly meetings led by the Program Manager/Team Lead.
• Review past weekly activities with the team
• Approve next weekly plans including movement plan of activities with the team
• Update Project Agile board
2-Implementation
• For managerial issues on project under direct supervision, (logistic, HR, transport, procurement, administration, etc.):
- Propose and implement solutions with the team
- Solve it directly
- Link with the Team Lead, logistics and administration and propose solutions.
• For technical issues:
- link with sectoral coordinators to seek solutions
• Manage the activity implementation directly according to the weekly plans
• Organize monitoring field visits for all projects in the same base
• Implement the technical solutions agreed with Sectoral Coordinators (Protection, Education, Livelihood, Agriculture
• Review the work of the contractors and IP, follow up and ensure consistency and accountability.
• Link with the Sectoral Coordinators as necessary to approve completion reports for works.
• Support the MEAL Coordinator and PM in the elaboration, preparation and collection of M&E data.
• Lead in the field implementation of project M&E data collection: baseline, midterm monitoring, post-monitoring survey, end-line surveys and all data collection required for activities implementation.
• Report on results and objectives as required
3-Reporting
• Update project preppy, review them ensuring highest accuracy and submit them to the sectoral coordinators for review
• Compile the first draft of all external reports required by the donor and government institutions (interim, final, ad hoc, etc) using data from M&E, weekly updates, and technical reports (e.g. post distribution monitoring, completion reports, etc.)
• Share all required information on all technical activities to the reporting officer.
• Liaise with the Sectoral Coordinators to support in any missing information related to project reporting..
Participate in grant closing meetings for every closed grant.
4-External Coordination
• Delegated function to attend external sub-national cluster meetings and sectoral working groups when required and delegated by the HoM, Team Lead and sectoral coordinators
• Provide inputs to the HoM and sectoral coordinators in the definition of the country strategy
5-Project development
• Execute and manage all required needs assessments (Standard, Rapid, Ad Hoc) and exploratory missions with direct supervision of the field staff/enumerators
• Contribute in drafting new project proposals
• Share project ideas and concepts as deemed useful
• Propose written innovative actions in the area of intervention
• Review and support the collection of project ideas from the area of intervention, liaise with the sectoral coordinators and MEAL
Qualifications
1-Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Project Management-Social Sciences- Humanitarian Affairs - Education, or Protection.
• Master’s degree is often preferred, especially for senior roles.
2-Professional Experience
•3–5+ years of experience in project management within humanitarian or development settings.
•Proven experience managing multi-sectoral projects (e.g. Protection, Education).
•Experience working with international NGOs (preferred)
•Familiarity with donor-funded projects
3-Technical Skills
•Strong knowledge of the project cycle: planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
•Familiarity with digital data collection platforms (e.g. Kobo Toolbox, Qgis) is a plus.
•Experience with:
-Drafting workplans, procurement plans, and recruitment plans
-MEAL frameworks and data collection tools
-Budget tracking and expenditure planning
-Writing donor and government reports

Contract Type and Duration:
This is a full-time position under a 3-month renewable contract.
