Responsibilities
 Perform clinical consultations and examinations of women and girls, and provide appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and referral for reproductive health conditions, such as pregnancy complications, infections, cancers, and injuries.
 Provide family planning services and counseling, and offer a range of contraceptive methods, such as pills, injections, implants, and intrauterine devices.
 Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, and monitor the health and well-being of mothers and babies, and manage any complications or emergencies, such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, or neonatal resuscitation.
 Provide screening and treatment for cervical cancer, breast cancer, and other gynecological cancers, and refer patients to specialized care when needed
 Provide screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, and provide counseling and support to patients and their partners
 Provide care and support to survivors of gender-based violence
 Document and report all reproductive health-related activities, outcomes, and incidents, and maintain accurate and complete records
 Participate in the assessment and analysis of the reproductive health situation and the reproductive health needs of the target population, and identify and prioritize the gaps and challenges
 Participate in the evaluation and improvement of the reproductive health services and provide feedback and suggestions for adaptation and innovation.
 lncase inpatient services are available in the facility conduct daily word round and ensure quality of services.
 lncase responsibilities are assigned as head of the unit, ensure proper organization, staff Rota, discipline and coordination of services with staff and other sections in the health facility.




 Ensure availability to attend obstetric emergencies at the health facility.
 Ensure implementation and monitoring of health data in patient charts and reporting tools.
 Participate and lead quality assurance mechanisms in the unit such as CM Es, mortality and morbidity audits and quality assessment.
