Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the Sanitary Ware, FF&E, MEP & ELV, and Water Treatment departments. This role leads operations, strategy, and growth of the trading company, driving profitability, expanding market presence, overseeing procurement, sales, logistics, and finance, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on operational expertise to achieve sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share.
Identify new business opportunities, suppliers, and product lines.
Establish annual budgets, business plans, and revenue targets.
2. Operations & Supply Chain Management
Oversee procurement, vendor negotiations, and international sourcing.
Manage logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution for efficiency and cost optimization.
Implement process improvements to enhance operational performance.
3. Sales & Business Development
Lead the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and government entities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
4. Financial Management
Oversee P&L, cash flow, and financial planning.
Coordinate accounting, costing, and payments.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, customs, and regulatory requirements.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations.
Maintain high-quality standards for products and services.
Ensure accurate documentation for imports, exports, and certifications.
6. Stakeholder & Government Relations
Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and government authorities.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
15–20 years in trading, import/export, or distribution.
Minimum 5 years in a senior management or GM role.
Proven track record in procurement, vendor management, sales, and multi-product trading operations.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Financial acumen and analytical capability
Knowledge of local market, customs procedures, and trading regulations
Ability to drive strategic growth and operational excellence
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
