Responsibilities
General Role:
The GBV Program Coordinator is the primary person responsible for managing the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Program at the organizational level, overseeing the implementation of its activities, and ensuring the overall quality of programming.
Work Locations: Azaz – Safira – Manbij – Aleppo
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall supervision of the GBV Program.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to approved policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Coordinate with UNHCR, relevant authorities, and partners.
- Analyze program trends and challenges and reflect findings in the development and improvement of interventions.
- Prepare periodic reports, including data entry into the ActivityInfo system.
- Identify staff training needs and support capacity-building efforts.
- Participate in relevant coordination meetings.
- Approve the team’s staffing structure in consultation with the field office, based on identified needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Conditions:
- Proven experience in managing GBV programs.
- Knowledge of international standards and case management guidelines.
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills.
- Ability to analyze information and prepare reports.
- Effective coordination and communication skills.
