Responsibilities
General Role:
The GBV Prevention Facilitator is responsible for strengthening community-level efforts to prevent Gender-Based Violence (GBV) by implementing awareness-raising and community-based interventions aimed at reducing risk factors and promoting positive behaviors and practices. This role aligns with the overall program approach and complements response services provided to survivors.
Work Locations: Azaz – Safira – Manbij – Aleppo

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and facilitate awareness sessions and activities on GBV concepts, forms, and consequences.
- Support community-based prevention initiatives in coordination with local stakeholders.
- Contribute to disseminating key awareness messages and promoting constructive community dialogue.
- Work closely with the program team to ensure integration between prevention and response activities.
- Identify community challenges and needs related to GBV prevention and report them to the relevant management.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Gender-Based Violence concepts.
- Strong facilitation skills for community sessions and group discussions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups within the community.
