Responsibilities
Performance and professional development
Develop HR development strategies with HR manager by conducting job analysis
Develop and implement a performance management system.
Ensure each position has performance objectives.
Ensure each position has a valid job description
Develop and implement retention strategies and initiatives.
Act as an impartial mediator in performance appraisal sessions and ensure it is administered in an equitable and fair manner and meets local labor laws.
Design reward systems beyond annual salary increases.
Ensure each employee has valid updated contract
Develop career path plan for each employee

HR tasks:
Perform ATC for relevant HR stakeholders as needed
Assist in recruitment processes as requested
Perform orientation sessions and induction for new employees
Ensure full compliance for exiting employees
Other tasks as assigned by HR Manager

Office culture
Promote and model a positive, professional and respectful office culture.
Initiate team building initiatives.
Ensure effective and positive transition for exiting employees.
Ensure effective internal communications.


Qualifications
Education and experience
University degree in human resources or business management.
Minimum 2years experience in human resource management including job description development, recruitment processes, performance management systems and salary and benefit package development.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to deliver programs to a high quality.
Ability to devise solutions to complex problems.
Energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others.
Personally credible with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong influence and negotiation skills.
Integrity and approachability.

Training:
Develop HR training strategies with line managers by considering immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Analyze training needs assessment in conjunction with line managers.
Develop individual training programs that meet the skills gap identified through training needs assessment.
Develop annual training plan
Design training programs to cover annual skill gaps
Implement training programs by coordinating training sessions and preparing needed documents
Liaise with external training providers to implement annual training plan.
Deliver training programs seeking different training methods to improve the effectiveness of the trainings provided.
Evaluate trainings programs and define strengths and weaknesses
Design and implement appropriate e-learning strategies.
Promote an open knowledge-sharing environment that builds knowledge, skills and service for the benefit of the organization as a whole.
Create training bank
Maintaining training records and tracking data required for talent management and human resources administration
Forecast annual training budget to be added to annual operational plan.
Keep up to date with developments in learning tools and techniques and provide innovative ideas to effectively train staff
Search and create ways to keep staff motivated

Additional Information:
Due to the nature of SAMS’ work, working hours may vary during peak periods such as proposal development, project closure, or emergencies. Staff are expected to be flexible and available beyond regular working hours when required.
