Responsibilities
1. Research Coordination
•
• Support recruitment and coordination of 24 community-based data collectors across 8 governorates
• Co-organize and co-facilitate 5-day training for data collectors on participatory research methodologies, conflict-sensitive approaches, ethics, and digital tools
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for 24 FGDs and 40 KIIs across diverse governorates
• Conduct field monitoring visits and quality checks during data collection
• Support ongoing technical support to data collectors, troubleshooting challenges
• Maintain secure and organized research documentation
2. Data Management & Quality Assurance
• Support Kobo configuration and survey monitoring.
• Conduct data cleaning and preliminary analysis.
• Ensure sex- and age-disaggregated reporting.
• Maintain secure and organized research documentation.
• Support International Consultant with systematic analysis identifying barriers across political, economic, social dimensions
3. Technical & Gender Support
• Ensure gender-sensitive approaches throughout implementation.
• Contribute to drafting of assessment and policy documents.
• Support progress reporting and documentation.
• Translate key project documents between English and Arabic (questionnaires for data collection)
• Ensure language quality and cultural appropriateness across all deliverables
• Support drafting of assessment reports, policy recommendations, and Framework elements documents
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in research or gender programming.
• Experience in data collection and field coordination.
• Strong writing skills in Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with Kobo or similar digital data tools preferred.
