Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Developing event workplans and timelines in coordination with Project Manager.
• Preparing detailed event budgets and cost estimates.
• Identifying and securing appropriate venues.
• Coordinating with government stakeholders regarding protocol and official attendance.
• Ensuring accessibility considerations (gender-sensitive spaces, inclusive facilities).

Logistical & Operational Management
• Manage participant invitations, confirmations, and attendance lists.
• Coordinate venue setup including:
o Seating arrangements
o Stage and branding setup
o Interpretation equipment (if required)
o Audio-visual systems
• Ensure availability of all workshop materials (printing, folders, signage, name tags).
• Arrange catering services compliant with hygiene standards.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements where required.
• Supervise on-site logistical assistants and vendors.

Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain complete event documentation files.
• Compile:
o Participant attendance sheets
o Event photos and media materials
o Event summary reports
o Feedback forms and evaluations
• Support integration of event outputs into narrative progress reports.

Compliance & Safeguarding
• Ensure events comply with:
o UN Women Partner Agreement standards
o FCA safeguarding policies
o PSEA and anti-fraud commitments
• Ensure safe and respectful participation environment for women participants.
• Coordinate complaint and feedback mechanisms during events.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience organizing workshops, conferences, or institutional events.
• Experience organizing high-level government or UN events is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English required.

Salary and Benefits
As per FCA salary scale
Announcement will be closed on 18 March 2026.
Contract will be Service contract for 3 months renewable according to the budget availability and performance.
