Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the supply and procurement strategy, and prepare annual supply plans aligned with production and sales needs.
- Develop procurement and warehouse policies and procedures, and control inventory levels (Minimum / Maximum / Safety Stock).
- Manage the full Procure-to-Pay cycle, including needs analysis, supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Monitor deliveries and ensure material quality and on-time supply.
- Oversee logistics operations, shipment scheduling, contracting with transportation providers, and managing both local and international shipments.
- Prepare periodic reports (procurement, inventory, supplier ---performance, cost savings, KPIs), analyze risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead and develop the supply chain teams (procurement– warehouses – logistics), evaluate performance, and enhance coordination with operational departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in supply chain management, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within an industrial environment.
- Strong experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Very good knowledge of international Commercial Terms(Incoterms).
- Very good understanding of sourcing methods, procurement practices, and supply strategies.
