Responsibilities
•Ensure full compliance with the organization’s approved safety and security policies, procedures, and protocols across all operational settings (movement, communications, accommodation, safety equipment, etc.).

•Support the implementation of daily safety and security operations, including monitoring field activities and ensuring adherence to movement tracking procedures.

•Track and monitor staff movements, and provide timely updates on the security situation, road conditions, and potential risks.

•Report security incidents, injuries, and near-misses through approved communication channels in an accurate and timely manner.

•Assist in conducting security risk assessments for both new and existing areas and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.

•Support access-related tasks, including coordination with local authorities and contributing to resolving access issues at checkpoints or control points.

•Provide security support to program teams to ensure the safe and smooth delivery of humanitarian activities.

•Conduct safety briefings and induction sessions for new staff and provide content.


Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

•Diploma (Institute Degree) in a relevant field as a minimum requirement (e.g., Business Administration, Security Management, or any related discipline).

General Work Experience:

•Minimum 3 years of experience in safety and security, preferably within humanitarian organizations or in high-risk environments.
•Good knowledge of safety and security procedures, including movement tracking, incident reporting, and risk assessment.

Skills:

•Languages:
Good in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
Good in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
•Computing:
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to manage information and reporting tools.
•Ability to use communication equipment, tracking systems, and navigation tools (maps/GPS).
•Strong communication skills.
•Good understanding of the local security context, especially in areas of operation.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to security-related challenges.
•Ability to work under pressure, in dynamic environments, and with frequent field movement.
