Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Lighting Division Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all lighting projects. The role ensures full compliance with design standards, project timelines, budgets, and client requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in lighting systems along with proven leadership and project management capability to ensure efficient operations across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Division Leadership:
- Lead and manage the lighting and electrical division, including project teams, engineers, and sites supervision.
- Develop division strategy aligned with company goals and market demand.
- Ensure effective resource planning and allocation across projects.

2. Project Management & Execution
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution for lighting and electrical systems.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure targets are achieved.
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with specifications, standards, and client requirements.

3. Technical Oversight
- Review and approve lighting designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Ensure proper integration of lighting systems with electrical infrastructure and control systems.
- Provide technical support on installation methods, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the focal point of communication with the clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and authorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to support repeat business and project success.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and report updates to senior management.

5. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing lighting fixtures, control systems, and electrical/lighting materials.
- Evaluate suppliers and ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with key lighting manufacturers and vendors.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all installations comply with engineering codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures for installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and project handover.

7. Team Development & Performance
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineers and project teams within the division.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master degree is a plus.

Experience:
- 10 to 15 years in lighting installation and electrical project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in commercial, hospitality, and large-scale lighting projects
- Strong background in project planning, execution and handover.

- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience with Dialux or similar lighting design software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
