Responsibilities
• Lead the Technology Development function, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance for the delivery of airport technology systems and digital platforms.
• Lead the implementation and integration of the Airport Operational Database (AODB) and all associated operational systems.
• Coordinate the deployment and integration of SITA platforms and passenger processing systems including CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, and FIDS.
• Lead the development and integration of Resource Management Systems (RMS) for airport operational resource allocation.
• Manage end-to-end system integration across multiple airport operational systems, technology platforms, and external stakeholder (airline) systems.
• Support the implementation of A-CDM, turnaround monitoring systems, and airport operational dashboards.
• Manage airport technology implementation projects, including system upgrades, new platform deployments, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate technology deployment activities with engineering, construction, and airport operations teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Manage airport technology vendors and system integrators (e.g., SITA), ensuring deliverables align with technical and operational requirements.
• Support the technical evaluation and selection of airport technology platforms.
• Ensure reliable and secure data exchange between airport technology platforms and airline operational systems.
• Support the transition of newly implemented systems from development into operational environments, coordinating with Airport Technology Operations teams.
• Participate in ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) activities and operational acceptance processes.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and operational procedures are delivered for all implemented systems.
• Promote innovation and the adoption of modern airport technology solutions to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (mandatory).
• Relevant certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP), Systems Integration, or specific airport technology platforms are highly desirable.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in airport technology environments.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical leadership roles managing airport technology systems or large-scale integration programs.
• Proven experience implementing and integrating AODB, SITA platforms, and other core airport operational systems.
• Extensive experience managing airport technology vendors and system integrators.
• Demonstrated experience supporting technology deployment in live airport operational environments.
• Airport Operational Database (AODB) platforms, Passenger processing systems (CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, FIDS), Resource Management Systems (RMS), Airport systems integration and interface development, Airport technology architecture, Aviation operational environments and regulatory standards.
• Strong technical leadership and systems integration capability, excellent project and technology delivery management, strong stakeholder engagement and communication, adept vendor and solution management, ability to manage complex programs with multiple vendors, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
