Responsibilities
Processing of Supporting documents:

● Assist the finance officer in recording bank payments and transactions for UNHCR and SIF funded projects in the ERP.
● Responsible for archiving hard copy of supporting documents for UNHCR and SIF funded projects.
● Stamping all UNHCR and SIF supporting documents with the relevant stamps as required for the different agreements, scanning the documents, renaming the documents adequately and archiving them on the server.
● Assist the finance officer to attend tender meetings when necessary and give report.
● Assist the finance officer to record UNHCR and SIF funded projects payments in the ERP.
● Following up with payments to ORVs.
● Maintain a system for following the vendor contracts.
● Reviewing supporting documents for payments of vendors, compensation of teachers, consultancy payments, and make sure that the budget lines are correct, project codes are correct, supporting documents are complete, and signatures are up to date, before payment is made according to SIF policies and procedures.
● Assist the finance officer to prepare documentation to support donor audits and external audit process.
● Support the finance officer to prepare Fouad monthly reconciliation reports for all payments made through Fouad to beneficiaries.
● Perform other tasks assigned by the finance officer (UNHCR and SIF funded projects).

Data entry:

● Maintaining contractors tracking sheet
● Assist Finance Team in the month end and year end closing.


Files Management:

● In coordination with the line manager, develop and maintain a filing system of financial documentation,
● The separate month-wise files be maintained with proper coding/tagging.
● Maintain clean and accurate accounting files with original documents. Documents should be filed in sequence and clearly indicated with a document number for easy access in hard copy and in soft copy. Soft copy documents should be properly renamed and stored in a folder on the server.


Qualifications
- Minimum of BA. CMA and/or CPA and/or MBA is a PLUS
- Experience finance and audit related positions positions, preferably with INGOs
- Experience in or knowledge of non-profit accounting and finance.
