Responsibilities
• Conduct preliminary and detailed design of post-tensioned concrete floor systems.
• Prepare bills of quantities.
• Prepare method statements for post-tensioning works.
• Supervise the site team during all post-tensioning installation works, including, but not limited to, tendon laying, marking tendon profiles, strand pushing, and fixing anchor boxes.
• Supervise post-tensioning jacking activities and prepare stressing and elongation reports.
• Supervise grout injection works on site.
• Coordinate with and manage the site team and site logistics.
• Manage the handling, storage, transportation, and movement of post-tensioning materials and equipment to and from project sites.
• Prepare regular reports for management, including stock take-offs, equipment maintenance records, and inventory forecasts.
• Perform any additional tasks requested by management.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of post-tensioned concrete principles, theory, and practical application.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of all post-tensioning site activities.
• Good understanding of the post-tensioning materials and equipment used by SPT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong understanding of Syrian building codes and applicable post-tensioning standards.
• Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of international concrete codes, particularly ACI and Eurocode 2.
• High proficiency in reading and interpreting structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
