Responsibilities
- Advise management and staff on political issues, conflict, and security situation.
- Liaise regularly with SARC branches withing the AoR in coordination with the SD Management
- Focal point of all cooperation related activities in the AoR, including the capacity building needs/gaps of the branches/sub-branches.
- Contribute to detection, identification, management of security risks and implementation of security measures in the Sub-Delegation.
- Monitor humanitarian environment, needs, and gaps; analyse socio-economic, cultural, political, and security environment relevant to the ICRC at local and/or national levels.
- Develop and maintain network of contacts of main actors in the AoR.
- Assist the Head of sub-delegation in detection, identification, and management of risks in the sub-delegation’s activities and operations.
- Where relevant, represent the ICRC during activities, in meetings, and in the field, in a manner that generate positive image of the ICRC.
- Lead and or participate in meetings with interlocutors and produce minutes of meetings accordingly.

Qualifications
- University degree.
- Very good command (speaking and writing) of English computer proficiency.
- 4–6 years’ overall professional experience.
- 3–4 years’ experience as a manager or programme officer in similar fields or other organizations or governmental structures.
- Confirmed analytical capacity in a similar field of activity.
- Ability to demonstrate the existence of a relevant network of contacts.
- Very good command (speaking and writing) of English computer proficiency.
- 4–6 years’ overall professional experience.
- 3–4 years’ experience as a manager or programme officer in similar fields or other organizations or governmental structures.
