Responsibilities
Procure all assigned services and indirect materials required by Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Logistics, Facilities, IT, Engineering, and other functions.
Review Purchase Requests, specifications, scopes of work, budgets, and service requirements; coordinate with requesters to ensure clear and complete sourcing packages.
Conduct local-market research, identify qualified suppliers and contractors, and maintain competitive alternatives for key categories.
Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and tenders; perform technical-commercial comparisons and recommend the best total-value solution.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, service levels, warranties, liabilities, and contractual conditions in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting coordination, award, signature, amendments, renewals, claims, expiry monitoring, and closure.
Issue and manage Purchase Orders and service orders; monitor delivery, execution, acceptance, invoicing, and resolution of commercial or performance issues.
Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with internal procedures and applicable Syrian commercial, contracting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor supplier and contractor performance against cost, quality, delivery, safety, SLA, compliance, and service requirements; follow up corrective actions.
Coordinate with Administration, HR, Marketing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Legal, Warehousing, and other Group stakeholders.
Identify cost-saving, spend-consolidation, standardization, and centralized purchasing opportunities; maintain accurate ERP, vendor, contract, and audit records.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
3–5 years of procurement experience, with proven specialization in sourcing services, indirect materials, and contracts within the Syrian local market.
Strong working knowledge of applicable Syrian regulations, commercial practices, contracting requirements, and local supplier market conditions.
Experience in FMCG or manufacturing and CIPS or equivalent certification are advantages.
