Knowledge Experience:
- Baccalaureate degree
- Good spoken and written command of English
- Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic
- Strong Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint -hellip;)
- Experience with digital- regular data collection tools: KOBO experience is a plus
- Familiarity with humanitarian principles, such as humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence,
- Working experience of one year in the humanitarian field
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Being aware of cultural norms, values, and sensitivities
- Being open to feedback, learning from experiences, and embracing new ideas or perspectives.
- Good capacity and flexibility to work in a team
Attitude:
- Flexibility and adaptability;
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently;
- Commitment to ZOA’s core values, including high level of integrity;

ZOA is an international NGO based in the Netherlands. We respond to natural disasters and conflict, delivering relief assistance to the most vulnerable and working alongside communities to help them recover. ZOA has been working in the Syria Response since 2014 and has been supporting Syrian refugees, internally displaced Syrians, and host communities in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. Since September 2018, ZOA has been registered in Damascus, enabling it to manage and run its operations and projects from within the country. ZOA works through local partners and its own direct implementation on a range of sectors from Shelter and NFI distribution to Education, WASH, and Food Security and Livelihoods.
