Responsibilities
• Mainstreaming AAP in the development and implementation of SIF in-country strategies, its associated procedures and tools
• Contribute to SIF Syria strategies monitoring and evaluation through AAP related-indicator collection and report to Program Coordinator
• Oversee and strengthen the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM), ensuring it is accessible, safe, confidential, and responsive.
• Ensure protection mainstreaming is effectively integrated across all program and project phases.
• Support project planning and design, ensuring AAP principles are embedded across all projects.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ethics, and safeguarding compliance across the program and teams.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on AAP and CFM performance for internal use and donor requirements.
• Participate in the management of AAP cases and ensure that the best interests of the persons involved are upheld, safeguarding confidentiality and securing participation of all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular field visits to project locations to ensure proper implementation and adherence to AAP, CSP, PSEA, and protection mainstreaming standards.
• Comply with SIF guidelines for Data Protection
• Contribute to the internal and external reporting tools, monitoring the progress of MEAL components
• Assist the MEAL Manager with data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning activities to enhance program quality and accountability.
• Contribute to MEAL monitoring activities, including field monitoring visits, data verification, and follow-up on action plans, as requested by the MEAL Manager.
• Develop and maintain a network and mapping of AAP specialists in Syria, ensuring coordination with relevant authorities and community leaders for effective implementation of SIF AAP policies.
• Ensure active participation and representation of SIF in AAP and IM activities, coordination meetings, and events, sharing inputs, lessons learned, and best practices from projects.
• Develop, maintain, and improve MEAL data management systems, databases, trackers, and information management tools to support program implementation and reporting.
• Design and digitize data collection tools using KoBo Toolbox (KoBo Collect/KoBo Server), ensuring data quality, user-friendliness, and alignment with donor and organizational requirements.
• Manage the full data cycle, including data collection, cleaning, validation, storage, analysis, and dissemination.
• Create, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards and other visualization tools to support program monitoring, performance tracking, and management decision-making.
• Produce regular information products, including dashboards, factsheets, infographics, presentations, maps, and analytical reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of ActivityInfo databases and other organizational information management platforms.
• Support program teams in data entry, verification, quality assurance, and reporting processes within ActivityInfo and other systems.
• Develop and maintain standardized data collection forms, monitoring tools, trackers, and reporting templates.
• Conduct routine data quality assessments (DQAs) and provide recommendations to improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
• Support the management and analysis of Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM) data, including trend analysis and reporting on accountability indicators.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on Kobo, Power BI, ActivityInfo, data management procedures, and information management best practices.
• Coordinate with program and support departments to ensure harmonized data collection, reporting, and information-sharing processes across projects and field locations.
• Maintain data repositories and ensure proper documentation, version control, and secure storage of project information and MEAL records.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of information management strategies, SOPs, guidance notes, and data management standards across the mission.
• Support the MEAL Manager in producing evidence-based analysis, learning products, donor reports, and strategic information for program planning and decision-making.
