General description of the role (brief):
The Supply Chain coordinator SCC is a key position to the success of and delivery of quality processes. The SCC is responsible for supporting the Operations Management Roles in Offices in the planning, managing staff, execution and monitoring of activities according to program priorities in compliance with organizational Supply Chain policies and procedures and donor rules and regulations. The SCC also provides support to the overall response of the operations and will be managing highly demanding logistics functions in all the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, transportation coordination, and documentation. The role is essential for facilitating the flow of goods and materials required for our humanitarian and development projects
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Preferred graduate with bachelors in logistics/supply chain management or bachelor’s in engineering/ business management or similar relevant experience considered.
General Work Experience:
• More than 3 years of progressive Supply Chain professional experience, with 1 year at a similar level of responsibility
• Experience working in an ERP environment
• Experience with Data Analysis
• Clear training and mentoring ability.
• Experience working with a diverse portfolio of Donors and knowledge of specific donor guidelines.
Skills:
• Languages:
- Excellent in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
- Excellent in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
• Computing:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, outlook).
• Have a high degree of flexibility and ability to work under sometimes acute hardship conditions against tight deadlines.
• Strong computer and communication equipment skills, including in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communicator, negotiating to facilitate and presenting
• Team Management and supervisory
• Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed structure
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills
• Good training and coaching ability
