Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•University degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights, International Development, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
•An advanced degree in Protection, Humanitarian Affairs, International Development, or a related discipline is an asset.
General Work Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
•Minimum 5–7 years of experience in protection programming within humanitarian or early recovery contexts.
•Demonstrated experience in protection programme design and proposal writing with international donors.
•Strong experience in developing technical SOPs, policies, and operational guidance.
•Experience supporting programme quality assurance and technical oversight of protection interventions.
•Strong knowledge of international protection frameworks and standards.
•Experience working in complex humanitarian contexts.
•Familiarity with humanitarian coordination mechanisms such as clusters and working groups.
Core Competencies
•Strong technical expertise in protection programming and humanitarian standards.
•Excellent proposal writing and programme design skills.
•Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to programme teams.
•Ability to work collaboratively across departments in complex operational environments.
•High integrity and commitment to humanitarian principles and safeguarding standards.
Skills:
•Languages:
Excellent in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
Excellent in English (especially for reporting and communication with senior management and partners.).
•Computing:
- advanced level in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, teams, etc,).
•Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication and representation skills.
