Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision and reporting to the REACH focal point, the Senior Program Officers duties will include, among others:
1. Management of Program Officers:
• Liaison with partners in Syria as per assessment needs.
• Development and coordination of the REACH enumerator & key informant network in Syria.
• Training of enumerators and key informants on assessment methodologies.
• Support and follow-up on administrative and technical issues pertaining to assessment activities in Syria.
• Provide timely and accurrate updates to the REACH focal point of any changes or challenges in the enumorater netwok while performing assessments.
2. Involvement in Assessment Activitites inside Syria:
• Support in managing the REACH enumerator and key informant network during data collection.
• Support the development of REACH products and reports.
• Translate questionnaries, materials, and documents related to assessments as needed (arabic – english)
• Act as a focal point for assessment partners in Syria.
• Ensure efficent and effective assessment processes in the field.
• Ensure the validity of the assesment data collected
• Provide support to other Program Officers as required. This will include information management, assessment technical support, logistical support and administrative support.
• Ensure the continuous revision and refining of assessment tools
• Contribute to the development of assessment tools and procedures
3. Involvement in Information and Communication
• Support on report drafting (assessment anomalies, signifcant events durning data collection, etc)
• Ensure clear, fluid, and updated communication with partners in Syria, as well as with REACH management and other REACH members of the team.

Qualifications
Qualifications needed:
• IT knowledge is a must, with a high command of Excel
• Experience and ability analyzing primary data from the field
• Great command of English language (Writing, Reading and speaking) is a must
• Native Arabic language (Writing, Reading and speaking) is a must
• Experience in project follow up and interaction with partners in the field
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and respect of time frames and work plans
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and heavy workloads
• Good understanding of humanitarian principles
• Experience with remote management projects
