Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver overall brand management. This includes the complete mix of marketing programmes in order to drive key brand performance metrics such as sales, awareness and equity.

- Anticipate the needs of the market by understanding Syria's dynamics in care delivery.

- Build and document insights, knowledge and understanding of the patient and the Syrian pharmaceutical market and communicates this internally. Creates and drives successful patient orientated marketing plans.

- Assess the brand and develops the brand and commercial needs (competitor advantage, positioning and value propositions).

- Develop and lead the execution of integrated commercial launch of new products.

- Assess performance, create specific marketing plans and allocate teams for each of the company's current products.

- Take product decisions, champion product status in the market, promote understanding across the business, highlight needs and issues and drive the right conversations/actions.

- Develop strategies, tactics, financial objectives and budgets in coordination with the sales team and top management.

- Development and management of the digital marketing channels for health care professionals, patients and health care providers. Make the digital marketing a top priority in the company's marketing strategy.

- Create and implement innovative channel strategies, propositions and new target customers.


Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required. Masters Degree is strongly preferred.

- 5 years in a marketing role.

- Substantial experience in a related marketing role that includes new product commercialisation.

- Previous experience of digital marketing is required.

- Good proficiency in English.

- This is an external-facing role, so significant work on the field to meet healthcare professionals (visits to pharmacies and doctors) is required.

- Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities with forward looking perspective.

- Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills.

- Good at adapting plans effectively for optimal impact.

- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence without authority, including demonstrated experience gaining senior leader perspectives and support.

- Builds relationships with other managers. Works cross-functionally and in a matrix environment with colleagues in all supporting functions.

- Familiarity with complex, competitive markets preferred.

- Ability to connect to the patient experience. The company's strategy is to focus on the patient.

- Ability to build a relationship across boundaries.

- Good analytical skills.

- Project Management ability.
