Responsible for Water and Habitat purchases according to the organization standards
Ensure that all purchase order files are compiled according to ICRC procedures in coordination with the responsible in the logistics department.
Resolve issues/problems related to the delivery of goods, including discrepancies between purchase orders and items/quantities shipped or received.
Review all procurement requests to assure appropriateness of technical specifications and seek clarifications, if required.

• Bachelor in Electromechanical engineering or Civil engineering
• Years of Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in the field of Water and Habitat projects.
2 years of work experience in Civil Engineering.
Or 2 years of work experience in electromechanical engineering projects
Experience within the field of purchasing and has a Good knowledge of the local and regional market related to Water and Habitat materials.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Very good computer skills.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Years of Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in the field of Water and Habitat projects.
2 years of work experience in Civil Engineering.
Or 2 years of work experience in electromechanical engineering projects
Experience within the field of purchasing and has a Good knowledge of the local and regional market related to Water and Habitat materials.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization, which has been permanently present in Syria since 1967. The ICRC works closely and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) organization to provide food, water, healthcare and other forms of relief assistance to people affected by the fighting. The ICRC also visits people detained and helps them to stay in contact with their families. This service is also provided to families separated as a result of the fighting.
