Responsibilities
- To be responsible of monitoring & evaluation of COOPI’s activities in rural Damascus "collective kitchen " at Nishabia area
- To adhere to COOPI code of conduct and procedures and to ensure they are followed by project staff
- To produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to the project manager.
- To participate in weekly meetings with the project manager, PDM manager, project staff to evaluate the projects implementation and their achievements.
- To analyze field activities reports in coordination with PDM manager
- To monitor and be responsible of the correct achievement of projects indicators, beneficiaries’ selection and assessment
- To organize the daily field work of field officers and FGDs.
- To set up and manage a system to receive the feedback from the beneficiaries, and raise any issue or complain they might have to the project manager.
- To coordinate with the field workers (volunteers) field activities and to be responsible of their daily monitoring
- To contribute in preparing proposals, concept notes, needed assessments.
- To Conduct M&E training needed to COOPI staff, field officers, volunteers.



Qualifications
- Higher education qualifications relating to the social sciences, international humanitarian or development studies. However, more importance is attached to field experience, ability to persuade and to work across different functions, than to formal qualifications.
Expérience
– At least 3 years of experience in an international humanitarian NGO, including at least one year in a similar post (monitoring/evaluation or MEAL);
– Experience in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems;
– Experience in team management and training/capacity-building;
– Experience in the implementation of the beneficiary complaint and feedback mechanisms preferential
Technical skills and knowledge
– Skills in the implementation of quantitative and qualitative surveys NOTE TO SI including data collection, training, supervision, sampling, analysis and sharing results (visualization)
– Training facilitation skills;
– Ability to analyze and summarise;
– Full competence of tools for collection, data management and statistical analysis (including ODK and MS Excel)
