Responsibilities
The Education program Assistant will provide assistance to the Education Program Associate in the overall implantation of the Education project in Der Al-Zour in terms of Serving as the primary contact person for project activities. He/She acts as the representative for the project to internal and external beneficiaries and responds to inquiries
- Acts as liaison between Education Program Associate and filed staff
- Oversee and supervise the implementation of all project activities
- Perform administrative support duties, manage program or office documentation
- Gather, compile and submit data required for program evaluation and grant reporting
- Update and maintain accurate and detailed participant records
- Ensure all files on each participant are kept up to date and database reflects latest details
- Assists in planning and overseeing events
- Oversee and supervise all project’s volunteers
- Inventories supplies and reorders as necessary
- Ensure supplies for staff and participants
- Represent agency to all individuals seeking services
- Identify needs of participants and link them with appropriate staff
- Identify best services to help program participants address their needs
- participate in events enhancing organization’s connection with community

Qualifications
- High institute degree in Business Administration or any other related filed
- 2 – 3 years’ experience; preferably with NGOs
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits ability to multitask on a regular basis
- Works well with a range of different individuals
- capable of multitasking efficiently on a regular basis
- Exhibits strong organizational skills.
- Communicates clearly, politely, and effectively.
- Demonstrates ability to think creatively to assist in special event planning and executing
- 2 – 3 years’ experience; preferably with NGOs
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
