Responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This
Includes managing the maintenance plans of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources, installation of new machinery and equipment. Supervises and introduces new technology to meet product development needs and assisting in the design and installation of new maintenance systems. Plan, direct, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance, repair activities, and spare parts so that the organization's buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably. In addition, this position is responsible for managing multiple shifts of Maintenance staff.

Are you the candidate we are looking for?

In this role, you will:

 Develop maintenance plans of all manufacturing assets, manage maintenance budget and resources, and install new machinery and equipment.
 Initiate corrective actions for all unplanned breakdowns in minimum time to prevent any disruption of the manufacturing process due to the unavailability of equipment.
 Introduce new technology to meet product development needs and assist in the design and installation of new maintenance systems.
 Plan, direct, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance, repair activities, and spare parts to ensure that Omnik buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably.
 Ensure end to end availability and upkeep of Omnik machinery, perform machine lifecycle assessment and oversee repairs as and when required.
 Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities such as quarterly maintenance programs or emergency repairs, to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimize business disruptions.
 Approve spare parts requirements for equipment and supply plans so as to monitor compliance with the budget and avoid delays in production caused by technical reasons.
 Build relationships with external contractors to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service always.
 Formulate end to end maintenance planning framework and prepare preventive and predictive maintenance mechanisms in alignment with the production targets and schedules.
 Analyze recurring issues and breakdowns and propose actions to Omnik Management.
 Ensure the formation of a safe working environment through adherence to safety norms and the implementation of required safety practices.
 Prepare report capturing breakdown duration, nature of breakdown, time to resolve, nature of solutions, cost, etc. for the breakdowns resolved.
 Plan and execute policies and methods regarding electrical engineering operation and strategy implementation and control for maximizing current and future procedures.
 Oversee the overall maintenance budget; monitor the implementation of approved CAPEX and optimize resources, and prioritize spending.
 Plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage maintenance activities i.e., planned maintenance programs, shut-downs, or emergency repairs, to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimize business disruptions.
 Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it complies with production specifications or instructions
 Ensures Team Compliance with all Safety Policies and Procedures
 Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
 Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code

5-layer POD blown film line:- Windmoeller & Hoelscher, Macchi.
3-layer blown film line: Mamata Brampton, Macchi Italy & Windsor.
Monolayer blown film line: Kung Hsing, Kolsite Kabra & Windsor.
