Responsibilities
1. Fully involve in all stages of the establishment of the community center.
2. Oversee the daily workflow of the center and ensure that activities and services are in line with the overall plan of the center.
3. Manage the plan of the mobile teams and plan targeted locations based on the assessed needs.
4. Establish the center committees, in coordination with the technical focal points
5. Coordinate with technical staff and plan the center’s monthly activities based on the assessed needs within the catchment area.
6. Following the AGD approach, ensure that all the activities in the center target POCs of all social, educational, ethnic and religious diversities existing within the different communities that reside in the catchment areas, and ensure gender balance when selecting the staff for the community center.
7. Map the local structures (schools, clinics, department of civil registries, syndicates, etc.) and other service providers existing in the center’s catchment area, create links of coordination and referral mechanisms between the center and these structures.
8. Identify the community structures (volunteers, local committees, unions, etc.) existing within the center’s catchment area, engage them in the center plans and activities, mobilize their resources for the benefit of the IDPs and the most affected persons.
9. Ensure the inclusion of all PoCs with particular attention to excluded and vulnerable groups (street children, unaccompanied and separated children, persons with disabilities..etc)
10. Ensure that the center is effectively operating and the center’s working days and hours are adhered to by all staff, teachers and volunteers.
11. Monitor the attendance and overall performance of the center’s staff in terms of commitment to the center’s plan.
12. Manage the center resources including the furniture, equipment, vehicles, etc. and ensure that all are utilized adequately and exclusively for the planned objectives.
13. Ensure that the center’s space is well utilized to accommodate more number of activities and services. Ensure allocation of proper counseling rooms with full respect to the privacy of POCs. Ensure the accessibility of the center and services for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility.
13. Generate weekly and monthly situation reports on the progress of the community activities, needs, challenges and any updates on the number of POCs.
14. Frequently assess and analyze the situation of the catchment area of the center in terms of humanitarian needs, resources and dynamics to plan the appropriate response.
15. Review and endorse any referral to service providers outside the community center and ensure appropriate follow up of the cases.
16. Organize regular meetings with the staff and participate in relevant trainings/workshops.
17. Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications
- University degree; preferably related to social work
- Excellent level in english (speaking and writing )
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in managing community centres
- Experience in emergency work is a plus
