Responsibilities
1. Translate all documents received from concerned, check original texts or confer with owners to ensure that translations retain the content, meaning, and feeling of the original material.
2. Convert written materials from English into Arabic language and Vice Versa, check translations of technical terms and terminology to remain consistent throughout translation revisions.
3. Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and computerized terminology banks as needed.
4. Conduct peer review, proofread, edit, and revise translated materials.
5. Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words or concepts.
6. Conduct final tuning to ensure the accuracy of translated contents.
7. Collect technical terms into glossaries and terminology database to be used in translation.
8. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
9. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Translation / English Literature.
2. Experience: 1 year of Translation experience is a plus.
