Responsibilities
1. Load radio site database that is prepared by Radio Engineer to launch new radio site on air.
2. Coordinate with rollout & maintenance service contractor and Transport Operation-Core Engineer in launching new radio site on air.
3. Configure new radio hardware based on modification request received from Radio Engineer.
4. Configure external alarms of power solutions and critical facilities supporting systems on Network Management System.
5. Perform software loading, parameters settings, radio database modification of relevant radio sites elements for optimization purpose based on a request from Radio Engineer.
6. Participate in projects and critical changes on BSS (Base Station Subsystem) part such as radio sites re-homing on BSC-RNC (Base Station Controller - Radio Network Controller), new frequency plans and parameters enhancement.
7. Participate in the troubleshooting of radio problems on cell level by checking hardware and software configuration and radio sites parameters.
8. Upgrade software version on cell level based on supplier’s recommendations approved by Technical Management.
9. Implement license expansion and request from supplier license renewal when license validity expires.
10. Recommend radio research to RAN Operation Subsystem HOS.
11. Proceed with the approved research studies and prepare detailed documentation.
12. Evaluate and test new specialized radio tools and provide the relevant support tasks to radio team.
13. Prepare reports about radio equipment and equipment’s configuration upon request.
14. Prepare “daily task” report about performed activities to facilitate retrieving the needed sites’ data when required.
15. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
16. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
17. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.


Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor Degree in Telecom /Electronic Engineering is required.
2. Experience: 1-2 Years Technical Experience is a plus, Preferably in Telecom.
3. Professional Certification: Prince2 is a plus.
