Responsibilities
• Supervises and monitors the implementation of all I&H activities (Shelter, WASH, public facilities rehab, …etc,..) during all projects phases (Assessment, tendering, execution and handing over)
• Supervises and monitors the engineering and technical tasks of the field assistants.
• Prepares the Bill of Quantities (B.o.Q), specification & drawings, Invoices and all related documents for the assessed/ongoing projects in coordination with the project manager.
• Prepares as built & shop drawing, reports, photos.
• Executes site visits for the site locations on daily basis.
• Follows up with the contractors and monitors the execution progress.
• Represents PUI for the project, attends the coordination meetings related to his field of work and ensures the smooth coordination with official entities and partners.
• Provides the internal and external reporting of the project by providing daily/weekly/monthly reporting to the project manager on activities.

Qualifications
• Good in English.
• Engineer (civil/architect)
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and Office programs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sites supervision.
• Good knowledge in building materials, technical specification, and local market.
• Ability to prepare well-organized reports supported with technical photos from the site.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
• Proven ability to deal with multiple tasks in a courteous and service-oriented manner in a demanding working condition that often has short deadlines.
• Resident of Damascus / R.Damascus governorate.
• Readiness to work in different locations of Rural Damascus Governorate (different areas of East Ghouta as Harasta, Mulaiha, Zamalka, Irbin, Saqba, Ain Tarma,…., in addition to different areas all over R.Damascus like Beit Jin, Mugher AlMir, AlTal, Deir Khabyiah, Zakieh,…..).
• Readiness to start the work immediately in case selected.
• Managing priorities, time and deadline.
• Well organized.
• Previous experience with INGO or UN agencies is preferable.
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Priority will be given for the candidate who submit their CVs within first two weeks of the announcement.

The current operational strategy for Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) in Syria is to alleviate the human suffering of the Syrian people in Syria by delivering sound, needs-based humanitarian assistance, while promoting a life-sustaining response. - Education support for conflict-affected populations (remedial classes, school rehabilitation, free exam preparations, summer class activities, community based initiatives and psycho social support),
- Enhancement of the Population of Syria self-reliance through livelihoods (vocational training course, provision of a professional tool kit ((PTK)).
