Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with local partners to develop the selection criteria for livelihood beneficiaries.
- Assist with the selection process of beneficiaries and make recommendations to the project manager.
- Develop small business curriculum and train beneficiaries on small business management.
- Assist beneficiaries develop plans and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Assist with the procurement and distribution process of in-kind grants to beneficiaries.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive system of beneficiary follow –up and monitoring.
- Develop monitoring tools to measure the impact of project of project activities.
- Report on a daily and weekly basis to the project manager on activities, achievements, challenges and plans.
- Make recommendations on improvements and potential expansion of project activities
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Ensure that project target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
- Conduct needs assessments, market assessments, and price monitoring.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate M&E mechanisms.
- Contribute to the identification of new projects, areas of intervention, and partnership options.
- Attend meetings with ADRA counterparts, prepare notes and follow – up on actions needed for project implementation and monitoring.
- Flag implementation challenges, and propose solutions to overcome them.


Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, development or similar.
- At least 3 years’ experience in small business management, coordinating micro enterprise, livelihood projects or similar roles.
- Good communications, interpersonal and coordination skills sensitive to the cultural environment.
- Good computer skills.
- Good understanding of the context of Damascus Governorate.
- Good English skills.
