Responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the conduction of technical assessments, and participate in the identification and elaboration of new project proposals;
• Support the preparation of tender documentation, designs and BoQs;
• Guarantee the compliance of GVC interventions with Syrian regulations (standards, environmental procedures, safety, etc.);
• Together with the Line Manager, supervise the work of the Consultants/Contractors contracted within GVC projects. This includes but is not limited to: collection and analysis of contractors’ reports; quality controls; verification of executed quantities, etc.
• Facilitate the coordination between Contractors, Partners and local authorities;
• Assist in the implementation of the action plan, review achievements and constraints and provide feedback accordingly;
• Carry out any other task that may be required by the Line Manager.
Monitoring and Reporting Tasks
• Support the Line Manager in the preparation of accurate reports about the work progress and timely reports about specific activities;
• Guarantee that all the technical documentation is properly filled, updated and classified;
• Participate in the follow up of monitoring indicators for GVC activities and to the redaction of regular donor progress and impact reports by providing the needed information;
• Any other task not here listed and necessary to the projects and activities

Qualifications
• BA Degree in Engineering or similar field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar position.
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar position.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be decided according to GVC salary scale.
