Responsibilities
-Collaborate with national authorities and health and nutrition partners to coordinate and implement public health and nutrition activities.
-Guide and implement activities, monitor progress, and recommend improvements.
-Ensure the quality of training related to primary healthcare and nutrition service delivery in public healthcare facilities.
-Create, organize and lead area-specific training sessions, and identify the training needs and capacity building among the team members and partners (SARC, Ministry of health..etc..).
-Build on good practice, experience and assessments in the framework of Action Against Hunger's development strategy.
-Facilitate implementation of effective, evidence-based policies, public health and nutrition programs and interventions in emergency and post-emergency situations, health promotion and education.
-Participate in coordination and sector meetings with partners.
Ensure compliance principles and the Humanitarian Program Cycle in delivering Action Against Hunger health and nutrition response.
-Engage in teamwork with Department Heads in other technical areas to develop an integrated multi-sectoral approach.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in medicine, nursing, or public health ,family medicine, or maternal and child health with public health management.
-5 years experience in paediatrics, maternal and child health, and nutrition service delivery in Syria, most preferably in Aleppo.
- Knowledge of Primary health care, reproductive care, care practices, health care management, IYCF-E, CMAM, MHPSS
- 2 years of experience in humanitarian sector, or training in emergency response or disaster management in the context of public health.
-5 years experience in paediatrics, maternal and child health, and nutrition service delivery in Syria, most preferably in Aleppo.
