The Accountability/ Helpdesk focal point will extensively work on capacity building of staff at the cooperating partners (CPs) level, making sure that awareness and knowledge are expanded at different levels. The incumbent will report directly to the Project Coordinator.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide awareness raising and information sessions to community members accessing the CP establishment around key accountability issues such as safe reporting channels of suggestions, complaints, and other types of feedback.
- Handling the management of the helpdesk at the CP, providing information about available services, linking community members to needed assistance, supporting with crowd management and handling accountability-related disclosures (non-protection) at the CP level related to WFP/CP assistance.
- Contribute to fostering an environment where accountability principles are meaningfully mainstreamed into CP operations/ delivery of assistance.
- With the guidelines and support of WFP Protection, Gender & AAP unit, provide training to CP staff on beneficiary feedback mechanisms, accountability, and helpdesk management .
- Handle the disclosure of sensitive non – protection-related incidents by community members in a safe and confidential manner (i.e., breaches of code of conduct, diversion of aid, negative feedback related to assistance…etc) .
- Ensure weekly and monthly helpdesk reports are shared with the WFP FO .

- The applicant must have a university degree in a related field.
- One year of professional experience in relevant work.
- High level of accountability and trustfulness.
- Very good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and proficiency in computer skills.
- Male applicant should have finished their military service, exempted, or postponed for one year at least.
