Responsibilities
Planning
-Contribute, when asked, to drafts/ToR/BoQ for activities implementation (background, methodology, objectives, results, activities, BoQ, Monitoring and post monitoring table linked to result framework + cash, materials, transport) and send it to PO
-Support to prepare weekly activity planning, movement plan with the PM and APM.
-Contribute to weekly meeting
Implementation:
-Identify and assess vulnerable and at-risk children in coordination with community structures, CBOs, and other partners to ensure timely support and referrals.
-Provide structured psychosocial support (PSS) and focused, non-specialized counselling for children and caregivers in line with the IASC MHPSS intervention pyramid.
-Take the responsibility to implement the MHPSS, positive parenting programs, and other of structured and the child protection non structured interventions
-Document all individual cases using approved case management forms and tools, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to COOPI’s data protection and safeguarding standards.
-Support the maintenance and regular updating of the service mapping, ensuring accurate referral pathways to health, education, legal, and protection services.
-Conduct regular outreach and home visits (as contextually appropriate and based the suitable protocol) to follow up on identified cases and ensure continuity of care.
-Collaborate closely with specialized caseworkers and psychologists for children requiring advanced psychosocial interventions, ensuring smooth coordination across all steps of the case management cycle.
-Monitor, identify, and report child rights violations to the project team for appropriate response and advocacy actions.
-Ensure high-quality documentation and timely reporting, including data on services provided, referrals made, and awareness or PSS activities conducted.
-Facilitate community engagement by supporting awareness sessions, parenting discussions, and community-led protection initiatives that promote the well-being of children and families.
-Adhere strictly to COOPI’s safeguarding, PSEA, and code of conduct principles, maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactions with children and communities.
-Participate in capacity-building activities, trainings, and coordination meetings as requested by the supervisor.
Reporting

-Participate in grant closing meetings for every closed grant if required by the PM.
External Coordination:
-Support the organization of internal and donors visits to the project sites liaising with the PO.

-Act as enumerators and data collectors as required
-Contribute technical inputs in new project proposals as required
-Share project ideas and concepts as deemed useful

Qualifications
-University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or another relevant social science.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in Child Protection, Case Management, or Psychosocial Support within humanitarian or development settings.
-Strong understanding of Child Protection principles, case management standards, and community-based protection approaches.
-Demonstrated experience in working directly with children and caregivers, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy, and a non-discriminatory attitude in all professional interactions.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data entry tools.
-Strong report writing and documentation skills.
-Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
-Fluency in Arabic and a good working knowledge of English.
