Responsibilities
Planning:
-Contribute, when asked, to drafts/ToR/BoQ for activities implementation (background, methodology, objectives, results, activities, BoQ, Monitoring and post monitoring table linked to result framework + cash, materials, transport) and send it to PO
-Support to prepare weekly activity planning, movement plan with the PM and APM.
-Contribute to weekly meeting
Implementation:
-Work closely with social workers, community-based organizations (CBOs), and other local actors to identify vulnerable and at-risk children in need of care and protection support.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality case management services and systematic follow-up of all identified cases, ensuring caregivers’ active participation throughout the process.
Support the development, implementation, and regular review of individual care plans to ensure they address the specific needs and best interests of each child.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of all cases using approved case management forms, registers, and databases in accordance with data protection standards.
-Establish and regularly update a referral map for child protection and psychosocial services, ensuring functionality, accessibility, and collaboration with local service providers.
-Facilitate effective and timely referrals to specialized internal and external services, ensuring feedback loops are respected and documented.
-Support and mentor social workers to ensure they can deliver structured and effective psychosocial support (PSS) sessions for children and caregivers.
-Provide focused, non-specialized psychological support and therapeutic counseling interventions in line with the IASC MHPSS intervention pyramid.
-Support the planning and implementation of children’s clubs and community-based child protection initiatives, ensuring participation, inclusion, and meaningful engagement of children and families.
-Monitor potential violations or abuses of child rights and promptly report them to the Project Team for appropriate action and advocacy.
-Contribute to community awareness and prevention activities, and organize or facilitate trainings on community-based child protection approaches in coordination with the technical team.
-Participate in case conferences for complex or high-risk cases, ensuring a multidisciplinary and best-interest-of-the-child approach.
-Coordinate and contribute to the planning and implementation of national and international Child Protection events and campaigns, in collaboration with the Project Manager and technical team.
-Maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, safeguarding, and child protection, ensuring that all interventions uphold the dignity and safety of children and families.
-Prepare and submit timely monthly reports, including non-identifying data on survivors, services provided, follow-up visits, referrals, and community activities.
-Conduct home visits and outreach activities when needed, ensuring confidentiality and accurate documentation.
-Ensure close coordination and collaboration with specialized therapists and multidisciplinary teams throughout all steps of the case management cycle (identification, assessment, planning, follow-up, and closure).
-Participate actively in internal and external trainings, supervision sessions, and coordination meetings as required.
-Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support project implementation.
Reporting:

-Participate in grant closing meetings for every closed grant if required by the PM.

Qualifications
University degree in a related field e.g. Social Work, Psychology or equivalent is an asset
-Minimum of 2 years sectoral (child protection) experience in a similar position
-Experience working and communicating with Children
-Excellent technical understanding of child protection and community-based approaches
-Excellent technical understanding of child protection (especially case management) and community based approaches
-Excellent understanding of the case management
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients always is essential
