- Jointly with WHO partners and the MoH: identify the gaps and respond to emergencies
- Coordinate health plans and activities with the UN partners and key stakeholders in the field.
- Follow up the project implementation of WHO partners/local NGOs through conducting regular visits, meetings, and reviewing their technical and financial reports before submitting to WHO Damascus.
- Assist and monitor the distribution of WHO kits, medical supplies and medicines and submitting regular distribution reports accordingly.
- Liaise between the health authorities in the governorate and WHO on local matters.
- Coordinate and follow up the implementation of Early Warning Alert and Response System at the governorate level and report to WHO level on weekly basis.
- Report regularly, at least weekly, to contact person at WHO Damascus and submit monthly written reports.

Medical background with public health specialization preferably and familiar with directorate of health and the local NGOs activities
Good command of English language and very good communication skills and team work.
