Responsibilities
Scope of the work:
Senior Sales Officer is responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and leveraging professional networks. The role focuses on expanding the company’s footprint within the services sector by building long-term partnerships, closing high-value deals, and aligning solutions with client needs. The candidate must possess strong industry connections and a proven ability to generate and convert leads into sustainable business relationships
Role Responsibilities:
1.Lead the entire sales and business development cycle, from prospecting to contract signing.
2.Conduct regular sales visits to potential and existing clients to present services, understand their needs, and build strong business relationships.
3.Identify and pursue business opportunities through professional networks, referrals, and market analysis.
4.Represent the company in client meetings, conferences, and other industry events.
5.Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
6.Develop tailored proposals and business solutions that address specific client needs, particularly in the services sector.
7.Negotiate and finalize business agreements with a focus on mutual value creation.
8.Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
9.Maintain and update a client and prospect database, ensuring accurate records of visits, interactions, and progress.
10.Analyze client feedback and provide input for service improvement and business strategy.
11.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
2.Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the services sector
3.Experience or familiarity with training and consulting services is a strong advantage.
4.Knowledge of how NGOs work is an advantage
5.Strong portfolio of existing business relationships and industry contacts
6.Demonstrated success in building and maintaining B2B partnerships
Skills & Expertise:
1.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
2.Excellent business acumen and ability to close high-value deals.
3.Deep understanding of client relationship management and service delivery.
4.Ability to create engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
5.Fluent in English (Written – Highly Proficient | Spoken – Very Good | Listening – Very Good).
