Qualifications
• Advanced degrees in Peacebuilding, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in social cohesion, peacebuilding, or community stabilization, especially in fragile/conflict settings.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills; experience with participatory methods.
• Experience working in the Syrian or Middle Eastern context is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is a strong asset.
Salary and Benefits
The consultancy will be remunerated competitively, with rates negotiated based on qualifications and deliverables. Payments will be structured around milestones tied to key deliverables. Reasonable travel and accommodation costs for field visits will be covered by Caritas Switzerland as per internal policy.
