Responsibilities
- Contributes to analyses of the security, socio-economic, cultural and political environment in which the ICRC is working, shares relevant information with team members and reports any changes in the situation.
- Receives visits and/or calls and provides the primary point of contact between the visitors and/or callers and ICRC.
- Accompanies other ICRC departments in their field trips and provide ad-hoc family links dissemination activities to potential beneficiaries.
- Ensures the sustainability of their work and puts in place a system for archiving their work for the purposes of institutional memory.
- Assists in local stakeholder mapping and referral, and supports in trainings on Protection of Family Links activities.
- Interpret to and from Arabic and English, or to translate written documents from Arabic to English & vice versa.
Qualifications
- University degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of social, political or economic sciences or similar.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic languages.
- Computer Skills (Proficiency in MS Office).
- Good presentation and reporting skills.
