Responsibilities
•Oversee the hotel’s maintenance systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and interior upkeep.
•Manage the work order/request system and ensure timely follow-up.
•Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and departmental policies.
•Track inventory and tool movement; manage distribution.
•Enforce Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct.
•Monitor daily utility consumption (electricity, gas, water, fuel) and implement cost-saving measures.
•Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals.
•Supervise internal renovation projects aligned with annual plans.
•Allocate and manage departmental budgets for services and expenses.
•Participate in the hotel’s Safety Committee.
•Support energy conservation initiatives to meet budget targets.
•Maintain strong relationships with emergency service contractors.
•Ensure fire-fighting equipment is maintained and staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Qualifications
•Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role, preferably with Four Seasons or a comparable organization.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
•Work Hours: 9-hour shifts; schedule may vary based on operational needs.
•Skills & Abilities:
o Technical knowledge of building maintenance.
o Hands-on experience gained through on-the-job training.
o Proficiency in operating computer systems.
o Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
