Responsibilities
1. Execute all payment transactions with precision and speed, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and modern digital payment methods.
2. Ensure billing accuracy, process refunds in accordance with hotel policy, and provide guests with correct, itemized receipts.
3. Skillfully manage the point-of-sale (Micros) system to input orders, generate checks, and finalize customer bills.
4. Greet guests warmly and assist with inquiries to support a smooth payment experience.
5- Answer guest inquiries regarding services, charges, and folios.
6. Work in close coordination with the service and culinary teams to ensure operational harmony and address any service or billing issues efficiently.6. Maintain logs of transactions, voids, and cash flow reports.
7. Diligently document all financial activities, including transaction logs, voided sales, and daily revenue reports.
8. Follow financial protocols, prevent fraud, and maintain confidentiality in transactions.
9. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and security with all financial and guest information.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in cashiering, hospitality, or retail is preferred.
2. A degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
3. Ability to manage multiple customers, transactions, and responsibilities simultaneously.
4. Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication skills and a guest-oriented mindset.
