Responsibilities
Planning
-Participate in the internal project grant opening meetings. Receive from the PM/Team Leader the following documents: (1) Project activities workplan, (2) Procurement Plan and (3) Project expenditures in the PREPPY (activity lines), (4) Recruitment plan. Review and validate all these documents.
-Support is provided in reviewing all required agreements with local authorities and line ministries (if needed) working with the liaison officer
p-Review and input on the MEAL plan for all project according to Log Frames
-Advise the PM in the definition of all ToR/BoQ for project activities implementation, with authoritative function over technical disputes. Receive and approve all ToR/BoQ ensuring a direct link and communication with the administration and logistic departments.
-Attend weekly coordination meetings and review Agile boards. Coordinate any technical challenges with the PM and Team Leader.

Implementation
-Support the PM when needed to solve all technical issues related to the activities implementation, with authoritative function over technical disputes.
-All issues reported from PM and Technical team are regularly solved in weekly coordination meeting and as needed
-Propose technical solutions for all related issues, with authoritative function over technical dispute.
-Support logistics and PM in review received quotations for agreed BoQs, guarantee quality of the suppliers and provide inputs in the evaluations through the involvement of concerned technical staff.
-Support the PM for the overall follow up of all contractors and IP in the area of expertise.
-Review all MEAL documents prepared by the MEAL Coordinator and ensure consistency with the reports being submitted to the donors
-Ensure monthly learning consolidation based on M&E findings and share with the HoM.

Reporting
-Provide an in-depth analysis on monthly activities implementation.
-Receive and analyze project preppy and compare them with progress reports and MEAL data.
-Request for ad-hoc inputs from the PM.
-Report any gap or challenges based on the activity report and project preppy. Advise the HoM on challenges related to project implementation.
-If needed request weekly/ad hoc reports from the PM.
-Follow up challenges and priorities based on monthly reports and project preppy. Perform quarterly data audit when required
-Provides all inputs required for all technical reports (Donors reports, government reports and technical reports)
-Ensure a final review of project IR and FR together with the HoM.

External Coordination
-Attend and represent COOPI in national cluster meetings and sectoral working groups (attend with the HoM when possible).
-Consolidate and submit all reports required from clusters of operation (4/5Ws, ad-hoc, etc.) in collaboration with the reporting officer
-Meet regularly with donors and partners with the HoM with prepositive function over new grants.
-Support in donors visiting the sites of project implementation by liaising with HoM
-Review donor priorities and evidence from the grants (results objectives and impacts).
-Support the HoM in the definition and implementation of the country strategy in the technical field of expertise. Ensure linkages and learning among sectoral coordinators

Project development
-Direct MEAL team for standardized and ad-hoc needs assessments; validate tools and methodology.
-Review, provide substantial inputs and develop new project proposals following the country strategy.
-Use M&E data, innovation and evidence in the on-going and past projects.


Qualifications
-University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or another relevant social science.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in Child Protection, Case Management, or Psychosocial Support within humanitarian or development settings.
-Strong understanding of Child Protection principles, case management standards, and community-based protection approaches.
-Demonstrated experience in working directly with children and caregivers, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality, empathy, and a non-discriminatory attitude in all professional interactions.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data entry tools.
-Strong report writing and documentation skills.
-Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
-Fluency in Arabic and a good working knowledge of English.
-The experience in the national program such the positive parenting and the MHPSS program is an asset.
-Prior experience working with local partners or community organizations is an asset.
