Responsibilities
Monitoring
Conduct data collection using surveys, interviews, FGDs, exit interviews, RNAs, and other quantitative and qualitative tools.
Ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of collected data and support data verification in the field as per the agreed schedule.
Share daily or weekly updates with the MEAL Officer to support reporting and analysis.
Support partners and program teams in using MEAL tools (e.g., activity trackers, attendance sheets, databases).
Conduct training and follow-up for enumerators and partner staff on data collection tools and procedures.
Conduct regular field visits to ensure quality monitoring and promote community engagement.
Accountability
Support the Accountability Officer / Senior MEAL Officer in implementing and operationalizing the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM).
Introduce accountability channels such as complaint boxes and awareness on how to access them.
Collect feedback and complaints through house-to-house visits, FGDs, voice recorders, and in-person interactions.
Safely and confidentially handle, document, and enter data related to complaints and feedback.
Support closing the feedback loop through outreach to beneficiaries and ensure follow-up is completed.
Conduct regular FGDs or individual interviews to gather feedback from affected communities.
3. Evaluation & Learning
Conduct spot checks to ensure data accuracy and flag inconsistencies or missing information for correction.
Assist in compiling, cleaning, and preparing raw data for analysis and reporting under MEAL Officer supervision.
Support in organizing learning events, reflection sessions, or debriefings by preparing summaries, presentations, and lessons-learned documents.
Support data sharing, documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and best practices across teams and partners


Qualifications
A University degree in a relevant field (such as statistics & data management, social science, public health, or a related subject area): a technical degree together with additional relevant work experience may substitute for education.
2-3 years of experience in a relevant field (MEAL, Accountability, etc.)
Familiarity with data management and digital data collection tools such as Excel, Kobo Toolbox, ODK, and/or CommCare.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community members
Arabic is must, English will be an advantage.


Salary and Benefits
The salary will be defined according to the SAMS salary scale.
