Qualifications
EDUCATION
- University degree in a civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering related to the scope of work in WASH ORGANIZATION Programmes.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in a technical area specific to the WASH Programme/projects with UN, INGOs or NGOs.
- At least three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in project/programme management, monitoring, and reporting. Experience in collecting and compiling quantitative and qualitative data is an asset.
-Experience working in a humanitarian context, especially Hol and Roj camps.
LANGUAGES
- Fluency, both verbal and written, in Arabic.
- B2 level of English is an asset.
- Kurdish knowledge is an asset.
Specific Vacancy Requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Technical competencies in the field related to the scope of work.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyse diverse and complex information from a wide range of sources to make analytical statements to inform decision-making.
- Very good report writing skills.
- Capacity to work in an emergency context under stressful conditions and strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and networking skills, including the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams as well as establish and maintain close working relationships with a variety of implementing partners and counterparts at different levels.
- Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications.
Additional requirement:
- Residency in the Hol area or a minimum in Hassakeh city is a must as the duties required camp daily visits.
