Responsibilities
- Receives calls and serves as the main point of contact between the caller and ICRC and ensuring timely response to callers’ quires.
- Distinguishes between calls that can be handled directly and those that will require to be routed to the relevant sections /people within the delegation.
- Records the details of each contact with callers in the relevant system and ensures that the information is classified into pre-determined reference categories.
- Compiles, cleans, analyses, and breaks down data and provides regular reports and updates on the activities.
- Implements requests from departments for surveys or verifications.
- Collects data on individual cases and provides relevant details for follow up to the relevant departments.
- Makes proposals for improvements of programs based on call data and analysis.
- Acquires and maintains an understanding of the ICRC’s Code of Conduct policies and activities around country and being available for field missions.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in business administration, Social Sciences or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar field preferably in humanitarian sector.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience in call centre environment, social work and human service is a strong asset.
- Experience in data management.
- Good level of English, with ability to translate from Arabic in written.
