Responsibilities
• Perform structural analysis for glazing facades, skylights, curtain walls, balustrades, and specialty glass structures (wind, seismic, thermal loads).
• Translate architectural concepts into engineering-ready facade designs using glass, stone, and aluminum systems.
• Ensure compliance with international building codes, performance standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D), including anchorage, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs, cutting lists, and detailed technical documentation.
• Select appropriate glazing, cladding, fixings, and structural components.
• Support fabrication, installation, and site quality control, including inspections and performance testing (water, adhesion, etc.).
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in facade engineering, building envelope systems, or related fields.
• Good understanding of glass, aluminum, stone, and structural systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Experience with FEA analysis, BIM/CAD tools, (facade calculations is highly desirable)
• Knowledge of project coordination and basic project management principles.
