Responsibilities
Field Implementation & Follow-Up
• Support the day-to-day follow-up of project activities at field level.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation progress.
• Identify operational challenges and support timely corrective actions.
• Ensure activities are implemented in a manner that is inclusive of women, men, youth, persons with disabilities, IDPs, returnees, and host communities.
• Ensure the weekly update of the project action plan for all the projects.
Social Development & Gender Mainstreaming
• Support partners in integrating social development and gender considerations across activities.
• Ensure basic protection principles and PSEA standards are respected in all field activities.
• Support the application of community-based and participatory approaches.
Coordination
• Coordinate with implementing partners at field level to support smooth implementation.
• Support coordination meetings, field missions, and follow-up actions.
Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
• Support partners in preparing weekly, monthly, and activity-based reports.
• Verify field data, attendance, and activity documentation.
• Contribute to internal monitoring notes, lessons learned, and field updates.
• Support data collection and validation for UNDP reporting platforms, as requested.
Capacity Support & Operational Assistance
• Support organization and follow-up of training, workshops, and community sessions.
• Ensure minimum documentation standards are met (agenda, attendance lists, evaluations).
• Provide operational support to the UNDP field office as required.
Other Duties
• Perform any other related duties as requested by Area Social Development Technical Officer or Area Manager.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
a. Education
• University degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Gender Studies, Social economic, Social Work, Law, or related fields.
b. Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in social development, gender, protection, or community-based programming.
• good experiences in the context of Coastal area including player on the ground and the security context.
• Experience working with UNDP is an is an asset.
• Organize and complete multiple tasks accurately by prioritizing.
• Strong, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer background in MS Office (Word –Excel...etc.).
Language Requirements
• Fluency in Arabic; basic working knowledge of English is an asset.
